We are a small local operation dedicated to providing personalised bartending services to the good folk of Singapore.

 

WHO DO YOU GUYS PRIMARILY CATER TO?

Due to our current size, we optimally cater to small and medium sized events, both residential and corporate.

 

WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE?

The mission of Prohibited Cocktails is to bring cocktails to the party affordably so that everyone in Singapore can hire a bartender for their parties. If we can have cocktails at a bar, why can't we have cocktails at our parties?

 

WHY PROHIBITED COCKTAILS INSTEAD OF THE BIGGER BARTENDING SERVICE COMPANIES?

Those companies primarily cater to professional events for larger corporations. Their services include many elements geared towards impressing clients which are not necessary for casual parties. Cutting out these extras equals huge savings for you. :)

 

WHY ARE YOUR SERVICES SO MUCH CHEAPER THAN OTHER BARTENDING SERVICE COMPANIES IN SINGAPORE?

We practice a lean business model whilst ensuring the highest standards of service so you can get the most bang for your buck. This means we cut out large business expenses, such as office space by working from home, so that we can reduce our prices to the bare minimum.

 

DOES THIS MEAN YOU GUYS ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL?

Absolutely Not. We at Prohibited Cocktails dedicate ourselves to a high level of professionalism in our mixology planning and bartending services, and we take our mission to providing affordable bartending services for you very seriously. Business frills such as fancy websites and other business expenses holds no correlation to quality bartending services for your private parties. We focus on our passion, Mixology and Bartending, to bring you only the best.

 

WHY DO I NEED A CONCIERGE PLANNING SERVICE?

Planning a party for your friends is no doubt an incredibly daunting task, having a Mixologist personally help and guide you to the perfect cocktail selection is certainly a hard offer to refuse. We offer a level of customisation and personal attention that corporate bartending companies charge a fortune for. Prohibited Cocktails offers you the best bang for your buck.

 

HOW LONG IS LONG ENOUGH?

Prohibited Cocktails recommends at least 3 hours of cocktail service for birthday parties and special celebrations.

 

HOW DO I HIRE A BARTENDER FOR MY PRIVATE PARTY?

Simply contact us at prohibitedcocktails@gmail.com and make a reservation for your desired date. You can change your date anytime but we recommend booking your desired date early as dates are reserved on a first come first serve basis.

 

WHEN DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

Early reservations will help ensure you get the date you want and avoid disappointment. Reservations for party packages are optimally made at least a week before to allow sufficient time for planning. Party packages are optimally booked at least 3 days before event.

 

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

We understand that planning events are stressful and change is sometimes unavoidable. Therefore your deposit will be refundable up to 3 days before the event, so do go ahead and lock your date early without any worries. 

 

WHAT COCKTAILS CAN YOU GUYS MAKE?

Absolutely every cocktail that is built up, stirred, shaken or rolled (such as the Bloody Mary). If you have a powerful blender we can also make frozen drinks such as Frozen Margaritas and Daiquiries.

 

WILL YOU GUYS BE PROVIDING ALL THE BARTENDING EQUIPMENT?

Yes! All of our services will include our entire range of bartending equipment at absolutely no extra charge.

 

CAN WE RENT GLASSWARE FROM YOU GUYS?

We rent our glassware from partner suppliers. We typically recommend renting for events with 50pax and above due to delivery costs. However, we are able to cater even to small sized events should you wish to do so. :)

 

DO YOU GUYS SELL THE ALCOHOL?

No. All alcohol purchased or supplied is based on a purchase on your behalf service. We do not profit from nor directly sell alcohol.
